Capture the Sunlight
Can you capture the sunlight
Thru the fair morning breeze?
Gentle, beckoning droplets of light
Come and gone as they please
Chase them, sparkling away—
Merry clouds of faerie dust:
Can you not hear them say
'I love you' in a thousand words?
Pixies play games of heart
Ever meant for a mortal to lure;
As for us? Lest we part,
May our own remain ever pure

Pour elle, qui se reconnaîtra... ou pas !
(Qui s'est reconnue, en fait, déjà.)

A Tired Man
A tired man of eighty years
Though I am only twenty
I dare not blindly face my fears
I take refuge behind my tears
A fence of sorts, a prison too
For sorrow, so it can't get through;
Once tall I now collapse in pain
Not strong enough not to complain
A figure, yet a useless flask
Once full, now empty, if you ask
Not just half-empty—nor half-full;
My heart drowns helpless in a pool
Of sorrow?—Nay, pray have no fear:
Of gentle fragrance, of you, dear!
A quiet warmth caressing me—
And drained however I may be,
There is still more for me to give
My Darling: love aplenty.

Crossroads
Life disguises our meanings
Into forms and shapes obscure;
Wordless shadows hide our feelings—
Yet, we know:
Crossroads welcome lovers' steps
Celebrate our merry joining
Revel in the perfumed scents
Of our bodies!
See then how life ties the knot
Like a faeries' carousel
'Round our mingled silhouettes
Night acoming

Silent River
Stars never-ending shine below your restless eyes
As you lie down, smiling shyly, on the grass
Trying to hear an answer from the silent skies
Thinking about you, and me—about us
Each day I meet with an uncertain gloom
Leaves me half-empty; what is wrong with us?
Why couldn't we together lie on silent grass?
How can we shape the life cloth weaven on the loom
Which in itself is nothing but a dream
Restlessly flowing down with the stream
Winding and turning, digging deep within
The soil of doubts, and the rock unseen
A river mingling with a brook, to be
Yet even stronger, for us both to see
How weak, uncertain lights can shine
Together, bright, like fingers intertwine
To form a true alliance: you and me
Hands holding more than just a glass of wine
When to our future we drink—yours and mine
And that same river flows inside us, silently

Glimpsing
Glimpsing the fresh-breathing beauty around me
The silentless speeches of birds in the trees
The restless half-chatter, half-song of the leaves
I hear them when Spring comes, and leaves
Smiling at people who struggle around me
The silentless crowds who gather and flee
The restless half-lives and half-deaths of beliefs
I see them as time comes, and leaves
Shading the stars as they sparkle around me
The silentless night, singing softly its myths
The restless half-words and half-feelings inside me
Wistfully stirring when love comes—and leaves

Don't let this flower...
Don't let this flower by my love be touched
For it would grow to reach forbidden heights
Once witnessed Heavens, the desire's such
That makes all flowers strive for light—
And fade asleep whenever comes the night
Don't let this be, for sunny days are rare
The taste of love is bitter when love is unfair
All sunrays, bright, are weak against the clouds
And, however pure, love's helpless when unshared—
Blue colors, deep, seem dull where grays abound

Little Boat
Sailing through the storms
Defying hurricanes
Forever, an eternal quest
Is mine, for truth
Yet it remains unseen
Unheard of, hidden in the graves
Of those who knew, and
Couldn't tell me. Why?
I'm deafened by the winds
Blinded by lightnings
Drifting through immortal haze
And dying on the waves
In that remorseless ocean
Of tears, my own tears...
Taking me higher, higher!
Where the truth prevails

Early in the Morning
Early in the morning, on this blooming day
A heart is sadly calling
For someone far away
Its voice is like the whisper of a crying horn—
A silent flight of fairies
Has got lost in a storm
Enchanted lands forever are hidden from the eyes
No man can ever reach them
No one can pay the price
No gates are ever open, no mercy for the fool
Who's looking for an answer—
There is no law, no rule
Where magic is forbidden, there is no place for us
The silent, fallen fairies
Dead lying in the grass

Snow flakes...
Snow flakes fall in swirls
When they do come, they come with
Laughter of our girls

Wildfire
Beneath the golden dust of stars
A careless hand spilled over night
O'er logs of wood piled in a hearth
The fire dances, sings, takes flight—
Then flickers, captured in your eyes
Furious wilderness—and I
Wonder what magic lies inside
To hold your tears with fire combined
Calm is the night
Still wet your eyes
And mine, as we join hands
From hearth to heart
Through storm or charm
The fire travels fast
